CA Minimum Wage To Reach $10

California’s minimum wage will be raised to $10 per hour under a law signed Sept. 25. The increase will roll out over time; the hourly rate will bump up to $9 per hour on July 1, 2014, and then to $10 per hour on Jan. 1, 2016. The move will see California provide the highest minimum wage in the nation, surpassing Washington state’s $9.19 per-hour wage, though that state’s rate will rise with inflation.
