Cautionary Tale About An Endorsement That Went Awry

Some might say there is something intrinsically contradictory about a paid endorsement, while others would reply “Lighten up.” In any case, the endorsement process normally proceeds without static. The product is pitched, the wheels of commerce are turned, and all parties are satisfied. What happens, though, when the question actually gets, as it were, called, as it did when a star basketball player decided he just couldn’t wear the court shoes he had been paid to endorse?
