McDonald’s Hit With Labor Suits

Three lawsuits, which together could potentially bring in 30,000 class action plaintiffs, have been filed in three states, New York, Michigan, and California. The suits accuse the franchisor of failing to pay overtime, making employees work off the clock, failing to give them breaks, and making workers pay for their own uniforms. Included in the evidence to make the joint liability claim is software that the company provides its franchises to reduce labor costs.
