Protecting IP During Job Interviews

Intellectual Property can be compromised during a job interview, and the leak can run in either direction, according to this post from Andrew Armstrong on the IPWatchdog blog. It can happen in a variety of ways, he says, and not all of them are malicious, although some are. (An example is the sham interview that is in fact a phishing expedition, i.e., there is no job, but the company wants to pick the applicant’s brain regarding his or her current employer.) This post take a look at various ways the disclosure problem can arise and suggests some things each side can do to keep its IP intact.
