Recent Law Grad Squatting On 2016 Election Web Domains

Hoping for a big payday when the nominees for the 2016 U.S. presidential election are announced, recent law grad Jeremy Peter Green has spent thousands of dollars staking his claim to nearly 200 variations of possible candidates, including HillaryForPres.com and ElectRandPaul.com. The 26-year-old lawyer, who works for a labor law firm, has “a better 2016 collection than anyone else out there,” he told The Hill. Some of the prices are steep: The starting bid for ElectHillary.com is set at $275,000. While it may seem like a solid investment, the practice “just doesn’t pass the sniff test,” said Bill Sweetman, president of name consulting firm Name Ninja.
