Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s self-described “pit bull” lawyer, admits to setting up a Delaware corporation to pay Stormy Daniels $130,000 in hush money to never speak of sexual encounters with the President. But Daniel’s has her own zealous representation in the person of Michael Avenatti, a lawyer with a talent for stirring the publicity pot in respect to his controversial porn star client. In an interview with Chris Cuomo of CNN’s “New Day,” Avenatti claimed six additional women have come forward alleging sexual relationships with President Donald Trump and his office was vetting their stories. He also told Cuomo that Daniels has faced physical threats, the details of which will be disclosed in an upcoming 60 Minutes interview. He declined to say whether someone close to the President had threatened her. A threat of “physical harm” to prevent a potential witness from providing relevant information to criminal investigators would constitute a clear-cut obstruction of justice.
