Attorney Quits Cosby Team

Monique Pressley is no longer representing Bill Cosby against civil lawsuits and criminal charges brought by women accusing him of sexual attacks. Pressley, a well-known attorney and high-profile advocate publicly proclaimed Cosby’s innocence, and said her ex-client was the victim of “a game of political football.” It’s unclear why she has left the legal team. An attorney for some of the women who have accused Cosby called for Pressley to be removed from the case after she failed to complete proper paperwork before she represented Cosby’s wife, Camille, in a deposition in Massachusetts, a state where she is not allowed to practice.
