Concussion Claims Could Cost NFL Up To $950M

Estimates indicate the NFL may be on the hook for up to $950 million to resolve injury claims from former players suffering from head injuries. An analysis done by the lead plaintiffs’ lawyers determined that 3,600 players, 17 percent of potential class members, were likely to be paid. The league has agreed to pay at least $675 million in cash. However, some l players and their families have objected, saying the settlement is inadequate.
