E-Discovery Day 2022: Benchmarking Report on Collaboration Data
December 15, 2022

Data from collaboration apps is increasingly becoming an important source of electronically stored information (ESI) in litigation as well as corporate governance. For the third year in a row, Hanzo and the Association of Certified eDiscovery Professionals (ACEDS) have surveyed industry professionals to better understand what’s happening in the field of e-discovery and to learn from the experiences of practitioners. Insights on the survey findings and analyses of enterprise obligations were presented in an online webinar at the December 1, 2022, E-Discovery Day event and in the 2022 Collaboration Data Benchmarking Report. The respondents were surveyed on the importance of collaborative data sources to their business; retention policies, preservation methods and processes; scoping data collections, responding to discovery requests and believing in collection methods; the investment roadmap and legal professionals’ concerns about collaboration data.
