Feds Indicted In Silk Road Fraud

Silk Road, the online black market that dealt in Bitcoins, was shut down In October 2013, but the list of victims and perps continues to grow. Most recently, two federal agents who investigated the case were indicted on charges of stealing Bitcoin currency and extorting $250,000 from the alleged operator of the site, Ross Ulbricht, a.k.a. “Dread Pirate Roberts.” Prosecutors have emails in their possession indicating that Dread Pirate Roberts hired assassins online, although it is unclear whether they were real hit-men or inventions of the investigators.
