Ginsburg Doubles Down Against Trump

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg this week again voiced criticism and disdain for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, calling him a “faker” in a CNN interview and saying she is surprised the media hasn’t asked him more about his tax returns. In response, Trump told the New York Times that the comments were “highly inappropriate,” and took to Twitter to say: “Her mind is shot – resign!” In an interview, Ginsburg told the Times, “I can’t imagine what this place would be – I can’t imagine what the country would be – with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it would be four years. For the court, it could be – I don’t even want to contemplate that.” The 83-year-old Justice was nominated to the Court in 1993 by President Bill Clinton.
