Law Schools See Slight Enrollment Uptick

There was a 0.1 percent increase in first-year class enrollment at ABA-accredited law schools this year, according to Standard 509 Information Reports data, in contrast to the 2.6 percent decline from last year. According to the data, accredited schools saw a total of 110,951 law students enrolled for Fall 2016, and 37,107 were first-year students. Total enrollment for Fall 2015, by contrast, was 113,900, of which 37,071 were first-year students.
