Sexting Lawyer Suspended For Five Years

A North Carolina lawyer will be prevented from practicing law for five years after sending sexually explicit nude photos to three clients, and having sex with one of them in his office. The lawyer, a former associate at the Twiford Law firm, was representing one client in a child custody case in connection with a domestic violence protection matter. He sent text messages detailing sexual dreams, informed one client that he had received a vasectomy, and for one of the women wrote off $4,500 in legal fees without authorization.
