Survey: 70 Percent Of Lawyers Clueless About Internet

In a tech survey taken during the ABA TECHSHOW, 70 percent of responding lawyers said they do not use any “web-based services.” Considering that email, websites, e-filing, smartphones and tablets all are web-based, that number reveals something interesting about the general lack of savvy among attorneys. “It is much more likely that 70% of lawyers don’t know what web-based means. That’s still a huge problem,” Sam Glover writes for Lawyerist. “How can you ‘keep abreast of … the benefits and risks associated with relevant technology’ … if you don’t even know what technology is relevant?”
