Swear Word Gets Assistant DA Kicked Off Case

Lobbing a curse word at a defense lawyer in court was enough to get an assistant DA in Travis County, Texas kicked off a case this week. He apologized, but defense the lawyer has pushed for a sanction. Though the swear word in question was not identified by the Austin Statesman, it was enough for Davis to say, “I don’t know you, and I don’t know you enough for you to use that language with me.”
