Reporting on a recent conference in San Francisco, Susan Kostal presents five legal marketing trends to watch, all with a heavy technology/social media component. Some don’t require a major financial investment, but they do involve a commitment of time and resources. The author finds the accounting industry has significantly outperformed legal in these kinds of endeavors, according to some key metrics: retaining women, new compensation and management structures, and content and social media strategies.
