An attorney who represents both individuals and corporations in white collar criminal matters – and is an attorney for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange – says the standard for alleging vicarious liability in corporate cases is so low that it immediately shifts virtually all the power to the prosecution, with “lopsided” negotiations the inevitable result.
