After the success of their first design for a flying machine, the Wright Brothers stopped focusing on improvements and put their energy into suing anyone who tried to get their own designs airborne. According to Investors.com, Qualcomm is following in their footsteps by attempting to maintain market share through litigation instead of innovation. Apple, Samsung, and Intel have accused Qualcomm of slowing innovation by creating an unnecessarily contentious licensing environment, which disproportionately hinders small tech companies and startups. Qualcomm, do the right thing, not the Wright thing, says the online magazine.
